SELECTION PROCESS

We are intending to have 8 to 10 Acts for the show. We very much want to offer a variety of performances. Priority to offer Acts to those who reside in Maidstone and surrounding areas (Kent) We do not have a pre-conceived standard – we are not seeking out established performers or wishing to crush souls.

If we are inundated with applicants we will review this and provide an update of our criteria. And will likely be spurred on to run future ‘I Can Cabaret’ events.

The deadline for expressions of interest for the February Show will be 20th December 2023. We will confirm with Acts on or before 02/01/2024

For transparency – before active promotion of this event, we have reached out to local individuals to test that there is a need for I Can Cabaret. There are a few acts who, in solidarity with us, have offered or been invited to perform.
